CORK COUNTY COUNCIL COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME

Cork County Council is currently inviting applications from Community and Voluntary groups under the Community Enhancement Programme 2018.

 The scheme is an opportunity for community groups to access funding for capital projects to enhance facilities in disadvantaged areas or in order to kick-start, advance or complete their projects

The 2018 scheme is funded by the Department of Rural & Community Development with support from the Local Community Development Committees (LCDC) of Cork County Council.

There are two types of grants available under this Programme:

  • Small scale capital grant up to a maximum of €1,000 or less
  • Capital grant in excess of €1,000

Eligible Projects

Examples of eligible capital expenditure under the Programme include:

  • Youth Clubs or facilities
  • Sports / Recreation Facilities
  • Development and Improvements to community centres and common areas
  • Once off maintenance of Premises (does not include regular maintenance)
  • Upgrade Community amenities/equipment
  • Energy efficiency type projects
  • Defibrillator
