Éire go Brágh

The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is similar to TTIP but is between Canada and the EU. The agreement is waiting for final approval by the Council of the European Union and the EU Parliament. Whether approval by all EU member states is needed is disputed, so is whether we citizens have any say.

CETA would eliminate 98% of the tariffs between Canada and the EU. Like TTIP, CETA exposes our agriculture, fishing, minerals, domestic industry (what is left of it), our food standards etc. to new pressures – a faster race to the bottom, out of our hands!

TTIP and CETA allows the corporate world, with the Banks, to control our economy.
