  • Graduate of CIT in Business Studies & Marketing, and later of UCC in Computer Science and Irish.
  • Successful Business Systems Consultant for nearly 30 years, in IT & Finance Management.
  • Secretary/PRO of The People’s Convention (CPPC), founded in Dec. 2010.
  • Writer / contributer in the ongoing debate for Democratic Renewal and the need for Empowerment of the People.

  • Camapaigner against the Household Charge and Local Property Tax.
  • Hands-on organiser, in a leading role, across a range of issues, including tenancy/housing/homelessness, Irish Water, the anti-democratic Political Party ‘whip’ system and the campaign for #Irexit.
  • Secretary of Cork’s ‘Coiste Comórtha 1916‘, organising independent commemorative events for O’Donovan Rossa’s Centenary, Tomás Mac Curtain’s Anniversary Pipe Band Parade, Easter Rising and others.
  • Campaigner for the Irish language and the NEED for national revival in general – leading the Cork Street Names campaign etc.
  • Challenged the Sandards in Public Office (SIPO) law, being imprisoned (May 2016) for non-acceptance of regulations which favour the Political Party system or the right of Citizens.

  • Founder & Manager at Ionad an Phobail, the Community Resource Centre at 99 Douglas Street, Cork.
